Selection Process After Result
Candidates who have qualified the Prelims must now go through the remaining stages of selection:
1. Main (Written) Examination A separate, fresh online application window will open for eligible candidates to apply for the Main exam. It will consist of:
- Two compulsory papers: General Hindi (100 marks) and General Studies (two papers of 300 marks each)
- One optional subject paper (300 marks), to be chosen from Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics
- Each paper is of 3 hours’ duration
- General Hindi is qualifying in nature (minimum 30 marks required) and is not counted for the merit list
- Minimum qualifying marks in the written exam vary by category: 40% for General, 36.5% for BC, 34% for EBC, and 32% for SC/ST/Women/PwBD candidates
2. Interview
- Candidates who clear the written exam will be called for an interview carrying 120 marks.
- The number of candidates called for interview will be 2.5 times the number of vacancies, category-wise.
- Appearing in the interview is compulsory; candidates who skip it will not be included in the final merit list.
3. Final Selection
- The final merit list will be prepared based on combined marks of the Main written exam and the Interview.
