Educational Qualifications: Which Degree Do You Need?

1️⃣ Junior Engineer-I

Electrical Engineering: You need a full-time 4-year B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Electrical, Instrumentation & Control / Power Systems / Power Electronics / Power Engineering from any AICTE-approved university. AMIE equivalent also works.

Mechanical Engineering: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Thermal / Mechanical & Automation / Power Engineering — or equivalent AMIE.

Civil Engineering: B.Tech / B.E. in Structural / Civil Construction / Civil Engineering — or equivalent AMIE.

2️⃣ Junior Accountant

Any one of these will do:

B.Com or BBA from a recognized university
Intermediate (ICWA) from ICAI, Kolkata
IPCC / Intermediate (CA-Inter) from ICAI, New Delhi
MBA from a recognized university (2-year PGDBM also accepted)
2-year M.Com from a recognized university

Plus, computer knowledge is a must! RSCIT / DOEACC ‘O’ Level / COPA / Computer as a subject in 12th or one semester in graduation — any of these will work.

3️⃣ Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II

Senior Secondary (12th) from a recognized board

Step 1: Written Exam (Online CBT)

Post	Exam Pattern
JE-I & Jr. Accountant	Single 2-hour CBT — 60% Subject + 40% Reasoning/GK/Maths/Hindi/English. Negative marking applies. Pass marks: UR 30%, Others 20% (separate for both parts).
Jr. Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II	Two phases — Phase-I: Pre (screening only) + Main (40% weight). Phase-II: Typing Test — Hindi (50 marks) + English (50 marks) = 60% weight.

Step 2: Score Normalization & Merit

Wrong answers = penalty. Multi-shift exams = scores equated.
Tie? Older candidate wins. PwBD gets priority if scores match.

Step 3: Document Verification

2x candidates called per vacancy.
Must carry originals: degree, marksheets, 10th certificate, caste/income/domicile, PwBD cert (fresh medical board verification needed), character cert, affidavit on ₹50 stamp paper, bonafide resident proof.
Miss DV = cancelled. No excuses.

Step 4: Common Merit & Company Allotment

Merit + your locked company preference + category vacancy = your posting.
In-service staff? Same corporation + same post = rejected. Another corporation = okay.
Ex-serviceman status ends once you join.

Step 5: Medical Test

Corporation-notified doctor must clear you as physically and mentally fit.

Step 6: Joining & 2-Year Probation

Submit bond + security.
Trainee salary: JE/Jr. Accountant ₹23,700/mo | Jr. Assistant ₹14,600/mo.
