BPSC Teacher Recruitment TRE 4.0 2026 : APPLICATION FEE
- General Application Fee: ₹100/- per post/level
- If a candidate applies for more than one teaching level (e.g., Class 1–5 as well as Class 9–10), a separate fee of ₹100/- must be paid for each level.
- Biometric Fee: ₹200/- extra, applicable only for candidates who do not provide their Aadhaar number at the time of registration.
- Payment can be made online through the SBI Payment Gateway available on the application portal. Bank transaction charges, if any, will be added separately by the bank.
- Note: Fees once paid are non-refundable, even if the application or payment is cancelled.

BPSC Teacher Recruitment TRE 4.0 2026 : EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Educational and training qualifications are prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and vary according to the teaching level:

Mandatory Teacher Eligibility Test (TET):
- Class 1–5: CTET Paper-I or BTET
- Class 6–8: CTET Paper-II or BTET
- Class 9–10 & Special Teacher: STET Paper-I
- Class 11–12: STET Paper-II
Candidates appearing for STET 2026 may also apply provisionally, but they must clear STET before being admitted to the Main Examination. Teachers appointed and working before 2012 who cleared the erstwhile competency test are exempt from the TET requirement.
A 5% relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks is applicable for SC/ST/EBC/BC and PwD candidates in educational qualification.
BPSC Teacher Recruitment TRE 4.0 2026 : SELECTION PROCESS
Selection for BPSC TRE 4.0 will be made purely on the basis of written examinations — there is no interview. The process involves two stages:
- Preliminary Examination – Qualifying in nature; used only to shortlist candidates for the Main Exam.
- Main Examination – Fully objective (MCQ-based); final merit list is prepared strictly on Main Exam marks.

BPSC Teacher Recruitment TRE 4.0 2026 : HOW TO APPLY – STEP BY STEP
- One Time Registration (OTR): Visit the official BPSC portal (bpsconline.bihar.gov.in) and complete OTR using an active email ID and mobile number. This OTR is valid for all future BPSC exams.
- DigiLocker Linking: After OTR, sign in to DigiLocker (create a new account if you don’t have one) and give consent to link your documents with the OAMS portal.
- Profile Creation (6 Steps):
- Step 1: Personal Information (category, disability status, sports quota, ex-servicemen details, etc.)
- Step 2: Address Information
- Step 3: Other Information (any pending criminal case, if applicable)
- Step 4: Qualification Information (10th, 12th, and higher qualification details)

Important: Once the application fee is paid, candidates cannot edit their selected post/subject. To make changes, the payment must first be cancelled and the entire process repeated.
