- Eligibility will be assessed as per the NMC (Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations, 2025).
- DNB / DNB Super Speciality qualified candidates are also eligible to be considered for selection to Senior Resident/Tutor posts.
- Minimum qualification: Postgraduate (PG) degree in the concerned subject/speciality.
- In case of a shortage of PG degree holders, candidates with a PG Diploma in the relevant subject may also be considered — but diploma holders will rank below degree holders in the merit list (10 marks less than PG degree holders).

- Panel Formation: A merit-based panel is prepared according to the educational and residency qualifications of applicants and the reservation policy applicable in Bihar.
- Department-wise Application: Doctors holding PG qualifications in more than one subject must apply separately, department-wise.
- Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted on the panel are called for document verification as per the schedule to be published on 11.09.2026.
- Counselling/Interview: Successful candidates are informed of the counselling/interview schedule after receipt of applications. Original certificates along with one extra photocopy must be produced at this stage.

Step 1 — Registration Visit bceceboard.bihar.gov.in → click “Online Portal of Senior Resident/Tutor under Health Dept.” → click “Apply for Senior Resident/Tutor” → click “New Registration.” Use only your own (or parent’s) email ID and mobile number, as OTP verification and all future communication will be sent there. This mobile number/email cannot be changed once verified.
Step 2 — Multi-Step Application Form

- (d) Fill Educational Information
- (e) Upload a high-contrast colour photograph, signature, and a live photograph as instructed

Important reminders:
- No hard copy needs to be sent to the Board; bring it only at the time of counselling.
- Once finally submitted, the application cannot be withdrawn or modified beyond the editing window.
- No refund/chargeback of fee is entertained under any circumstance.
