A total of 95 vacancies are available across seven trades. SGTPS Birsinghpur ITI Apprentice Bharti 2026 | EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

• Candidate must have passed ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in the relevant trade from a Government/Private recognized institution affiliated with NCVT or SCVT.
• Candidate must not have been previously registered for apprenticeship at any establishment, and must not have worked at any establishment for one year or more.

SGTPS Birsinghpur ITI Apprentice Bharti 2026 | SELECTION PROCESS

• Applications will first be screened for eligibility as per the notification.
• Shortlisted candidates will be selected based on a merit list prepared using the percentage of CGPA (semester average) scored in their ITI trade.
• In case of a tie in marks, preference will be given to the candidate with a higher age.
• A waiting list may be prepared if required.
• A candidate can apply for only one trade; applying for more than one trade may lead to rejection of the application.
• Final selection is subject to a medical fitness certificate issued by the District Medical Officer.

(There is no written examination or interview — selection is entirely merit-based on ITI academic performance.)

Stipend will be paid as per the rates fixed by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. No other allowance or benefit will be applicable apart from this stipend.

This recruitment does not involve any written examination. Selection is purely merit-based, determined by the candidate’s ITI marks/CGPA in the relevant trade (see Selection Process above). After completing the one-year training, apprentices must appear for and pass the examination conducted by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship to receive the National Apprenticeship Certificate.

• Visit the official apprenticeship portal: https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
• Click on the “Register/Candidate” link, then select “Register as Candidate.”
• Fill in Personal Details — Aadhaar number, category (General/OBC/SC/ST), name, parents’ names, date of birth, gender, etc.
• Fill in Contact Details — full address, mobile number, email ID, and set a password.
• Fill in the Qualification Section — enter academic and technical (ITI) qualification details and upload the relevant certificates.
• In the Preference Section, select your preferred trade/sector for apprenticeship.
• Upload your photograph, date-of-birth proof, and scanned signature, then click Continue.
• Review the preview page, use Edit if any correction is needed, and click Confirm to complete registration.
• Log in again using your registered email/mobile and password.
• Go to “Establishment Search” and select “Sanjay Gandhi Thermal Power Station Birsinghpur” to apply against the advertised vacancies as per your eligibility.
• Also submit the offline (hard copy) application — as per the prescribed format, along with self-attested documents — by post to: Office of Adhikshan Abhiyanta (Prashikshan), SGTPS, MPPGCL, Birsinghpur, District Umaria, Madhya Pradesh – 484551, on or before 21 September 2026, 5:30 PM.
