Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow has published Advertisement No. 20-Exam/2026 for the Main Examination of Computer Operator (Computer Cadre) posts under the Advocate General’s Office, Allahabad High Court, Uttar Pradesh. A total of 12 vacancies have been notified for the posts of Computer Operator Grade-A and Assistant Computer Operator. Only those candidates who appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 and hold a valid PET score card are eligible to apply for this Main Examination. Note: Candidates belonging to the Dependents of Freedom Fighters, Ex-Servicemen, Women, Divyangjan (PwD) and Outstanding Sportsperson categories will pay the fee applicable to their original/parent category (Sl. No. 1 to 4 above). The examination fee for the Main Exam has to be paid only by shortlisted candidates and must be paid before downloading the admit card. Fee can be paid through Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI or SBI e-Challan.

Minimum Age: 21 Years Maximum Age: 40 Years Age Reckoning Date: 1st July of the calendar year in which the vacancies were notified

Age relaxation is admissible to SC, ST, OBC and other reserved categories as per the prevailing Government of Uttar Pradesh rules. Candidates already in Central or State Government service are also eligible for relaxation as per applicable service rules.

UPSSSC Computer Operator Recruitment 2026 | Education Qualification

For Computer Operator Grade-A

• Bachelor’s degree from a university established by law in India, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
• Diploma / NIELIT ‘O’ Level certificate in Computer Science from a recognized institute.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of computer applications.

For Assistant Computer Operator

• Bachelor’s degree from a university established by law in India, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
• Diploma / NIELIT ‘O’ Level certificate in Computer Science from a recognized institute.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of computer applications.

Preferential Qualification (for both posts): Preference will be given, other things being equal, to candidates who have served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of 2 years, or who hold a National Cadet Corps (NCC) ‘B’ Certificate.

UPSSSC Computer Operator Recruitment 2026 | Selection Process

Candidates will be selected purely on the basis of a written Main Examination, as per the UP Advocate General and Law Officer Establishment Service Rules, 2009.

Only those candidates who appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 are eligible to apply. Shortlisting of candidates for the Main Examination will be done category-wise, based on the normalized score obtained in PET-2025, and will generally cover up to 15 times the number of notified vacancies (including all candidates scoring at or above the last cut-off normalized score). Candidates whose PET-2025 absolute or normalized score is zero or negative will not be shortlisted for the Main Examination.

The final selection and merit list will be prepared strictly on the marks secured in the Main Written Examination. The detailed exam scheme and syllabus will be released separately by the Commission in due course.

1. Visit the official website upsssc.gov.in.
2. Go to the “Live Advertisement” segment on the homepage and open the advertisement related to Advocate General Office Computer Operator (PET-2025)/20.
3. Log in using your PET-2025 Registration Number and verify through the OTP sent to your registered mobile number/email.
4. Your personal details (name, category, date of birth, etc.) recorded during PET-2025 will appear automatically — review them carefully.
5. Select the post(s) you wish to apply for and confirm that you meet the required educational qualification for the selected post.
6. Enter the educational and experience-related details as asked, along with the certificate/roll number and passing year.
7. Verify your photograph and signature (already uploaded during PET-2025); no changes are allowed at this stage.
8. Fill in any other required details, tick the declaration checkbox, enter the verification code, and click “Save and Submit.”
9. Pay the online processing fee (Rs. 25/-) through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI or SBI e-Challan.
10. Once the fee is successfully paid and reconciled, your application form will be submitted automatically. Download and take a printout of the final application form for future reference.
