Telangana Police SI Recruitment 2026 : Application Fee
- Fee has to be paid online through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or any other mode available on the TSLPRB portal.
- OC and BC category candidates with Telangana local status pay the fee as indicated on the online portal for the entire recruitment process (Preliminary Written Test, PMT/PET, Final Written Examination and Certificate Verification).
- SC and ST candidates who are local to Telangana are eligible for a concessional fee.

Telangana Police SI Recruitment 2026 : Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a Degree from any university in India established/incorporated under a Central or State Act, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the UGC, as on the date of the notification (29th July 2026).
- Degrees obtained through Open Universities/Distance Education must carry recognition from UGC/AICTE/Distance Education Council.

Telangana Police SI Recruitment 2026 : Selection Process
The selection is conducted in four major stages:
- Preliminary Written Test (PWT) – A single objective-type paper of 3 hours, 200 marks, common for all posts.
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Includes a 1600m/800m run, height measurement, long jump and shot-put. For Post Codes 12 and 16, running-event marks are counted through a normalization formula; for other posts the run is only qualifying in nature.
