JKSSB Recruitment 2026 | Educational Qualification

• For Class-IV (MTS) Posts: Minimum qualification is Matriculation (10th Pass) and maximum qualification permissible is 10+2 (12th Pass).
• For Sanitation Worker Posts: Minimum qualification is 8th Class Pass and maximum qualification permissible is 10+2 (12th Pass).
• Original certificates must be produced at the time of Document Verification as proof of qualification, valid as on the cut-off date (03.11.2026).
• Candidates claiming an equivalent qualification must produce a valid Equivalence Certificate from the competent authority.

The selection of candidates will be based on a Written Objective Test combined with additional weightage marks, as per S.O. 184 of 2020. The weightage varies by cadre type:

UT Cadre – Total 100 Marks

• Written Test: 85 Marks
• No Family Member in Government Service: 5 Marks
• Widow/Divorced/Judicially Separated Women/Orphan Girls: 5 Marks

Divisional Cadre – Total 100 Marks

• Written Test: 80 Marks
