The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), North Western Railway, Jaipur has released Notice No. 04/2026 (NWR/AA) for the engagement of Act Apprentices for the year 2026-27. There are 2008 training slots across Ajmer, Bikaner, Jaipur and Jodhpur divisions and workshops.

Candidates who have passed Class 10 with at least 50% marks and hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade can apply. Applications are accepted online only, from 07 October 2026 to 06 November 2026, on the official RRC Jaipur website. There is no written exam, and selection is based on merit.

Fee Details

Payment Mode

The fee is paid online through the payment gateway once the application form is complete. You can use a debit card, credit card or net banking. Any transaction charges are borne by the candidate. If money is deducted but you cannot download the form, use the “Verify Payment” button. Print and keep the e-receipt safely.

Minimum Qualification

• Passed Class 10 (or equivalent under the 10+2 system) from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate marks. No rounding off is allowed.
• Holds a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the notified trade, issued by NCVT or SCVT.

Important Points

• You must hold the required qualification on the date of submitting the application.
• Candidates still awaiting final exam results should not apply.
• Choose a unit that actually has slots for your ITI trade. Changes are not allowed after final submission.

Merit-Based Selection

There is no written exam or interview. The merit list is prepared using the simple average of your Class 10 percentage and your ITI percentage. Class 10 marks are calculated on all subjects together. ITI marks are taken from the provisional or final certificate.

Tie-Breaking Rules

1. The older candidate gets preference.
2. If the date of birth is also the same, the candidate who passed Class 10 earlier is preferred.

Merit List and Verification

• The final merit list is prepared unit-wise, trade-wise and community-wise. There is no single centralised merit list.
• Shortlisted candidates go through Document Verification and Medical Examination at their chosen unit.
• The medical certificate must follow the prescribed Annexure-IV format.

Stipend Details

• Scanned photograph: 3.5 cm × 3.5 cm, colour, JPG/JPEG, 20 KB to 70 KB, taken within the last 3 months, no cap or sunglasses
• Scanned signature: 3.5 cm × 2.5 cm, JPG/JPEG, 20 KB to 30 KB

Step-by-Step Process

2. Open the Apprentice Recruitment 2026 (Notice 04/2026) link and read the notification carefully.
3. Register and fill in your personal details exactly as in your Class 10 certificate.
4. Choose one unit and one trade matching your ITI. You cannot change it later.
5. Upload your photograph and signature in the prescribed size.
6. Pay the fee online if applicable. SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates skip this step.
7. Download and print the application form, and note your Registration Number.

Important Tips

• Apply early. The website can slow down in the last days.
• Submit only one application. Multiple applications with different details are rejected.
• Do not send hard copies to RRC, as they will not be considered.
