DSSSB has released the vacancy notice on behalf of the Delhi District Courts on 30 September 2026. Candidates must be Indian citizens aged 18 to 27 years (as on 1 June 2026), with the qualification required for the post. Selection is based on written tests, a skill or driving test where applicable, and an interview. Applications are accepted only on the official portal, dsssbonline.nic.in. Please note that the vacancies are tentative and may increase or decrease.

DSSSB Court Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

The age limit for all posts is 18 to 27 years as on 1 June 2026. This means you should be born between 2 June 1999 and 1 June 2008.

Out of the total, 54 posts are reserved for PwBD candidates and 41 for ex-servicemen (these are included in the numbers above). Senior PA and PA posts are not suitable for blind, deaf or autism categories as per the user department.

DSSSB Court Recruitment 2026 Education Qualification

No work experience is needed for any post except the driving experience for Process Server. Your qualification will be checked as on 4 November 2026.

  • Skill tests and the driving test are qualifying in nature.
  • There is no minimum pass mark in the interview.
  • For Sr PA, PA and JJA, the final merit uses marks from Tier-II and the interview. For Process Server and Peon, it uses the Tier-I MCQ and the interview.
  • Minimum qualifying marks in the written tiers: 50% for UR/EWS and 45% for OBC (Delhi), SC, ST, PwBD and ESM.
  • The final merit list will be prepared by the Delhi District Courts, Tis Hazari.
  • If marks are tied, the older candidate gets the higher rank.

DSSSB Court Recruitment 2026 Exam Pattern

Senior PA and Personal Assistant

  • Tier-I: 90 MCQs, 90 marks, 90 minutes (English 50, General Knowledge 20, Reasoning 20). English only.
  • Tier-II: Descriptive English, 75 marks, 90 minutes (Essay of 250 words 30 marks, Grammar 25 marks, Translation of 20 words 20 marks).
  • Tier-III: Shorthand dictation of 5 minutes, then 40 minutes to transcribe on a computer. Sr PA: 550 words, up to 22 mistakes allowed. PA: 500 words, up to 20 mistakes allowed. You get two attempts and the better one counts. Typing test at 40 wpm.
  • Tier-IV: Interview, 10 marks.

The board will call up to 25 times the vacancies for Tier-II and up to 10 times for the skill test.

Junior Judicial Assistant

  • Tier-I: 120 MCQs, 120 marks, 120 minutes (English 60, General Knowledge 30, Reasoning 30).
  • Tier-II: Descriptive English, 100 marks, 120 minutes (Essay of 300 words 50, Grammar 30, Translation of 25 words 20).
  • Tier-III: Computer typing test at 40 wpm (qualifying).
  • Tier-IV: Interview, 15 marks.

Process Server and Peon

  • Tier-I: 100 MCQs, 100 marks, 120 minutes (English 25, Hindi 25, General Knowledge 25, Arithmetic 25). The paper is bilingual, English and Hindi. PwD candidates get 160 minutes.
  • Process Server Tier-II: Driving test in real traffic (qualifying), followed by a 15-mark interview.
  • Peon Tier-II: Interview of 15 marks.

Every wrong MCQ answer costs 0.25 marks.

DSSSB Court Recruitment 2026 Documents Required

  • Photo ID proof (PAN, Voter ID, Driving Licence or Passport) as a JPG/JPEG file of 15–60 KB. If you use Aadhaar, no upload is needed.
  • Recent clear colour photograph on a plain white or off-white background, and your signature
  • Class 10 certificate (for date of birth and roll number)
  • Graduation or Class 10 certificate, as required for your post
  • LMV driving licence and driving experience proof (Process Server)
  • OBC (Delhi) Non-Creamy Layer certificate issued on or after 1 April 2026 and on or before 4 November 2026
  • SC / ST certificate
  • EWS Income and Asset certificate for FY 2026-27 (based on 2025-26 income)
  • Disability certificate showing at least 40% disability (PwBD)
  • Ex-servicemen discharge documents
  • Active email ID and mobile number

Documents are checked at the e-dossier stage. If you miss uploading them in time, your candidature can be dropped.

How to Apply for DSSSB Court Recruitment 2026

  1. Go to dsssbonline.nic.in.
  2. If you are new, click New Registration. Fill in your details and upload your ID proof. Verify your mobile and email with the OTP. Registration is a one-time job and you must make only one.
  3. Log in with your registration number and password.
  4. Open the Advertisement No. 04/2026 application link and pick your post code.
  5. Fill in the form carefully and choose your category correctly. Changes are not allowed after submission.
  6. Upload your photo and signature.
  7. Pay ₹100 through SBI e-Pay if you are not exempted.
  8. Submit the form and save a printout for your records.

Tip: only OBC candidates of the Delhi list get the OBC benefit. Others should apply as UR.
