The educational qualification for APPSC Group 1 Recruitment 2026 varies slightly by post:
For Post Codes 01, 02, 03, 05 to 13
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university in India (established under a Central Act, State Act, Provincial Act, or an institution recognized by the UGC), or an equivalent qualification.
For Post Code 04 (DSP – Communications)

Stage 1: Screening Test (Preliminary Examination)
An offline, objective-type, OMR-based test consisting of two papers.
Stage 2: Mains Examination (Descriptive Type)
