Through Advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2026, the board is inviting online applications for direct recruitment to the post of Constable (Level-02) in the General Cadre, which covers Executive, Armed/IRP, SDRF, Women Battalion and Border Battalion units. A total of 331 vacancies have been announced this year, and this number has come up after the recent re-organisation of districts in Ladakh and the resulting redistribution of sanctioned posts.

Ladakh Police Constable Recruitment 2026 | Educational Qualification
- The candidate must have passed 10th Class / Matriculation from a recognised Board of School Education.
- Serving Special Police Officers (SPOs) of Ladakh Police who have completed at least three years of continuous engagement are eligible with 8th Pass qualification, subject to fulfilment of other conditions.
- The qualification must have been acquired on or before the last date of online submission.

The recruitment will be conducted in the following stages:
- Physical Standard Test (PST) – Qualifying in nature
- Physical Endurance Test (PET) – Qualifying in nature
- Scrutiny of Original Documents/Testimonials – Qualifying in nature
- Scrutiny/Assessment of NCC Certificate – Incentive up to 5%
- Desired Qualification Test – Incentive up to 5%
- Written Examination – 100 Marks
Physical Standard Test (PST)
Male Candidates
- Height: 162 cm (minimum)
- Chest: 81 cm unexpanded (minimum)
- Chest: 85 cm expanded (minimum)
Female Candidates

Physical Endurance Test (PET)

- Long Race: 1600 metres in 7 minutes 30 seconds
- Long Jump: 12 feet (three attempts)

- Register using an active mobile number and complete the application form carefully.
