Telangana Police ASI Recruitment 2026 : Application Fee
The exact fee amount payable will be displayed to candidates on the TSLPRB online application portal itself, based on the post(s) selected, and can be paid using Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking. A few important points related to fee are worth noting:
- OC and BC category candidates (with Telangana local status) pay the standard fee shown on the portal.

Candidates must hold any one of the following qualifications as on the date of the notification (29th July 2026):
- B.E. / B.Tech in Information Technology or Computer Science, OR
- B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science with specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science, Networks, Cyber Security, or Internet of Things, OR
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or Computer Applications, OR
- Any other equivalent qualification, awarded by a recognized university in India.

Telangana Police ASI Recruitment 2026 : Selection Process
Selection for the post of SCT ASI (FPB) follows a multi-stage process. Since there is no preliminary written test for this technical post, the process moves directly through the following stages:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Running Event Men must complete the 1600-meter run within 7 minutes 15 seconds (9 minutes 30 seconds for Ex-Servicemen), while women must complete an 800-meter run within 5 minutes 20 seconds.
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT) – Height
- Men: minimum 162 cm (160 cm for ST/Aboriginal Tribe candidates from notified Agency areas)

Selected candidates will be appointed as Stipendiary Cadet Trainees (SCT) and will draw a pay scale of ₹33,750 – ₹99,310 during and after successful completion of training. On successful completion of training, they are appointed to the regular post of Assistant Sub Inspector (Fingerprint Bureau).
